Reading This Email is a Small Screen Activity

Banishing the Sunday Scaries:

Reading This Email is a Small Screen Activity

Do you sort your tasks into "big screen" and "small screen" activities?

I’m updating the resources I share with you so they’re easier to use without a "big screen."

I've been thinking a lot about "small screen" and "big screen" tasks - do you use this to split up your to-do list, too? Some tasks are more suited for those quick “small screen” moments, like organizing your to-do list while waiting for your coffee. Others need more focus and a “big screen” view, like working through strategic planning or deep-diving into your project roadmap.

My workbooks for taking a close look at the software you use in your business should be easy to grab and update whenever you run into a hiccup or a new possible piece of software to use! So, to better fit that "small screen" flow, I've decided to switch them from PDFs to Google Sheets templates. This way, you can access and fill them out anywhere without being stuck at a computer.

Here’s a sneak peek of one of the new Tech Tinkerer workbook pages on my phone. I’m excited for you to see the rest when it’s ready!

Learning About How You Learn

I think these interactive workbooks have some really cool possibilities (like, check out that star rating system!). They got me thinking—it’s time to explore different formats for learning materials, too. You know your learning style best, so I’d love your input on what kind of content works for you!

Big & Small Screens

How do you balance these two types of work? What tools or techniques have you found that make it easier to switch from a quick, phone-based task to a longer “big screen” project? I’d love to hear your thoughts—maybe we can brainstorm some new ways to make that transition even smoother!

Wishing you a fulfilling week ahead,
